- The Ikelite Substrobe 150 is a 150 watt second strobe
- Full power, 1/2 power, 1/4 power, Automatic (Nikonos IV-A) with sensor and TTL
- Battery is a 6 D cell pack, either NiCd or Alkaline

- Back of strobe has guide number table in the form of two sliders

- Manual, Automatic slave and TTL modes (TTL model only)
- Several versions of the electronics have been made to match Nikon flash circuits, older TTL models may not work with 8008 or N90. Check with Ikelite if strobe does not work in TTL mode with a specific Nikon camera.
- Older non-TTL models do not have "TTL" on them, these models are not TTL capable and must not be used on TTL cameras with TTL cables. Check with Ikelike for possible upgrade.
