While in Australia Tom noticed the enthusiasm of the
Australians for Harleys. Since he lives less than two miles from the factory
in York he decided to visit, took the motorcycle safety course held in the
Harley-Davidson parking lot, and then decided to buy one, first an 87’ 883
Sportster, then an 87’ Tour Glide. On Nov. 7th 1994 Tom bought a 95’ Road
King after waiting 15 months. It has been altered with an Andews EV-13 cam,
a Screaming Eagle Competition air cleaner, Touring Pipes, a rejetted carb,
and a green neon tube under the length of the frame so it appears to be
hovering above the ground at night.
